Children & Families Worker

The Vale of Glamorgan Circuit are looking for a

Children & Families Worker to be based at Hope Church, Cadoxton, Barry.

12 – 20 hours per week, £14.02 per hour

(annual salary £8,748 - £14,580)

The children & families worker will play an important and exciting part in developing our vision to provide welcoming spaces where people will discover the love of God. We are looking for someone who will build, develop and grow our existing ministry to children and families in Cadoxton by:

Encouraging, befriending and supporting the children & families who are already part of the church and those loosely connected with it;

Supporting and developing existing ministries with families & children and Junior Church activities;

Engaging with parents of children locally to help serve their needs and introduce them to the church family here.

If you have experience of working with children and families in a church related context, ideally with a qualification in Children, Family or Community work we would love to hear from you.
